Pop Pendalar2

Another successful night this year, with plenty of modern Welsh music from three talented bands, with Creision Hud - a young band from Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen opening the night.
They proved to be very talented, and the sound of their music was highly praised in the audience; we shall definitely hear more of them on the radio soon.
Bysedd Melys were next on stage, fantastic music from the Anglesey lads. They proved once again to be professional artists, by singing various songs – old and new.
Closing the show, we were entertained by the popular band from Ffestiniog – Frizbee. With the audience dancing and singing along loudly, especially with the old favourites – “Heyla” and “Si hei lw fy mabi”. (They proved to be very popular with Pendalar girls)!
And who co-ordinated the whole evening moving us on from one artist to the next, but of course, Mr Kev Bach himself, once again so cheerful and energetic as always, chatting away with audience while moving along.
Thank you very much to you all for giving your time and energy freely for the Pendalar appeal; you were all fantastic. Cliciwch yma i weld lluniau'r noson.

Sad News

Suddenly, too suddenly by far, on Friday afternoon the 1st September Cemlyn Llyr Owen aged 17 died. After all of the illnesses he experienced throughout his life, a new unexpected illness struck him down within 24 hours. Our deepest sympathy is extended to the whole family.

Despite his illnesses, Cemlyn was an extremely pleasant boy with a likeable personality who was friendly with everyone in his company, adults and children a like.
