Romans!
Cadnant have been learning about the Romans.
We visited Segontiwm before half term.
All enjoyed the visit, especially dressing up!! (09.06.05).

Vist to the beach at Pwllheli

Golf Competition
Some of the older children at Ysgol Pendalar had a 'golf competition' this week during our Physical Education session. The children had 3 attempts to chip balls towards a sticky wall. This game is very similar to darts. Darren won an 'Easter Egg' for scoring the most points. Well done..

The pupils were split into two teams who then had to:

- Choose staff to run the company.
- Name the company.
- Design a logo for the company.
- Design a T-Shirt.
- Design an advertisement for the newspaper.
- Make the T-Shirt design.

At the end of the day both teams got the opportunity to show the judge that they had been working hard all day. The winner's of the competition were ' Crysau Cofi ', well done to the ' Terrific T's ' who were the runners up. A big thank you goes out to Bethan, Luned and Sue from Careers Wales for organising the day.

Climbing at the Beacon Centre
"Cadnant have been climbing at the Beacon Centre during this 1/2 term. This was part of their 'adventure Physical Education' and all who participated learnt new skills - to keep going! To help each other and that learning new skills can be fun!!"

Red Nose Day
Ysgol Pendalar had a lovely day on Friday, March 11 dressing up in order to raise money for 'Red Nose Day'. We had lots of fun.
The children were shocked to find that there was a waiter at hand dinner time. Here's Mr Roberts the headteacher lending a hand"Would you like a drink Sir?"
Well done to everybody.
With everybody's help the school managed to raise £160 by selling cakes, biscuits and dressing up.
A very good day indeed

Visit to Caernarfon Castle
Cadnant have visited Caernarfon Castle this term as part of their history topic. They spent the morning looking around the castle and looking in the museums. It was all very interesting.
