Cadnant have held an Easter Raffle this week. Cadnant would like to thank the parents' for their support. Children brought Easter eggs and chocolates to school,
which were then raffled. Over a £100 was raised, which will go towards the school.
There was so much chocolate
that Pendalar was able to give some to the local children at the Tryweryn Nursery, Maesincla.
This year the Senior Unit will be taking part in Operation Christmas Child, which is a project run by Samaritan's Purse.

New Website
At last we have the opportunity to be able to show people what actually goes on within a special school like Ysgol Pendalar. Today’s launch of the school’s new web site will enable parents, friends, politicians, staff from mainstream schools or the public in general, to understand the philosophy, ethos and work of the school and to discuss, or learn about, other issues involving special education.
We find that, even in 2004, people visit the school and they have no idea what to expect and they go away in amazement that our children can read and write and can use computers as well as learn many other skills relevant to everyday life. Today’s launch will open up a whole new world for many people, a wonderful world of much happiness as well as some sadness, of hard work and great fun and basically a world which is crying out to be understood.
Meic Roberts from Delwedd has started to fill the web site but he intends to spend many hours this summer working to keep the web site up to date so that by September more and more parents will feel even closer to us than before and we will have more and more friends who will at last have a balanced and educated view of the world of special education.
