For the attention of the Head Teacher As a teaching professional you will have no doubt witnessed first hand
the detrimental effect that high levels of sugar and fizzy drinks has on a
child’s concentration and behaviour. For too long we have laboured under
the misconception that food is simply fuel and that a child being ‘full’
after a meal is a good enough outcome. The true picture is
however quite different. In my experience, over many years as a psychologist and nutritionist,
simple changes in nutrition can have profound positive effects on young
people and that most children – not just children with autism,
hyperactivity or behavioural problems can really benefit from
optimum nutrition. It can help sharpen up a child’s
mind, ability to concentrate and mood even if they appear to be ‘doing
alright’. I have put together a free 5 easy step recommendations for
parents which I hope you might be able to pass on to the parents
at your school. www.patrickholford.com/smartkids I am speaking on 22nd April on the subject of
Optimum Nutrition for your Child’s Mind and how what you
feed your child has an incredible effect on their brain function
and behaviour. Along with my co-author, Deborah Colson, who
specialises in children at the Brain Bio Centre, we will be dealing with
issues such as developing concentration and focus, boosting IQ and
creative thinking, improving reading and writing, enhancing memory and
improving mood and behaviour. There will be time allocated
for Q&A to allow for specific queries. I would be very grateful if you are able to pass this information on to
any staff or parents who would interested in attending.
Parents can book online on www.patrickholford.com or call our
office for more information or to book a place 0208 871 2949
