Menai

Class Menai are part of the 14-19 Pathways.  We have established two Learning Pathways.  Pupils can follow their own individual learning pathway to develop their personal independence skills, their vocational skills or both.  Pupil voice will be considered when determining the route they will take.

Our Independent Living Skills curriculum is specifically designed to support pupils with more complex needs providing them with the essential skills they need to live as independently as possible as they transition into adulthood.  This pathway focuses on developing practical life skills tailored to each pupil’s unique needs, helping them build confidence and autonomy in their daily lives.  The curriculum is structured around essential areas such as personal care, communication, mobility, and social interactions, ensuring that pupils can make meaningful progress towards a fulfilling life.

Miss Lora Lukacs is the class teacher and she has three classroom assistants: Sharon Jones, Meryl Slater-Parry and Sian Hughes.
