Taith Grant

It's with great pleasure we can share with you that Ysgol Pendalar has been successful in securing a grant through 'Taith'.  Taith provides opportunities for learners, young people, and staff in all types of educational settings to travel abroad for learning experiences, as well as allowing institutions to invite their international partners to visit Wales.  For more information, click HERE.

So far, pupils from the school's Vocational Pathway have been away for a night to Liverpool in October 2024 and a two-night trip to London in February 2025.

Some of our older pupils had their first taste of travelling as part of Pendalar’s Taith project with an overnight trip to Liverpool just before the Christmas holidays. The group set off early in the morning by minibus and arrived in Liverpool to visit Anfield Stadium. Wow! What an experience to start the trip.

The group explored Liverpool, visited the Museum, and enjoyed some festive fun at the Christmas Fair in the evening. For many pupils, this was their first night away from home – and everyone had an amazing time!

There was even time for some Christmas shopping before heading home, exhausted after an unforgettable adventure!  A huge thank you to all the staff and pupils for making this first trip so special.  Who’s ready for the next one? . . . .
