Yr Aber
Class Yr Aber are part of the 14-19 Pathways. As pupils move into year 9, they move into the 14-19 pathways. We have established two learning pathways. Pupils can follow their own individual learning pathway to develop their personal independence skills, their vocational skills or both. Pupil voice will be considered when determining the route they will take.
Our vocational curriculum is carefully designed to provide diverse and meaningful learning opportunities. The focus is on developing essential skills for life, employment, and independent living, in alignment with the aspirations and individual needs of each pupil. We are committed to fostering an inclusive approach that prepares pupils for adulthood and enables them to transition successfully into a variety of future pathways, whether it be further education, training, or employment.
Miss Ceri Griffith is the class teacher and she has two classroom assistants: Elliw Williams and Gruff Sion (Supported Employment Officer). Working closely with the class are Mr Tom Cockbill (Post 16 vocational teacher) and Miss Ceri Griffiths (teacher for independent living 0.6).
